Air Cleaner Assembly

The air filter is held in place by the Air Cleaner Assembly. The air cleaner assembly is intended to keep airborne contaminants such as dirt, dust, pollen, etc., away from the engine. The air filter and air filter housing comprise an air cleaner system. Its primary role is to filter hazardous impurities out of the air before it enters the combustion chambers. Air cleaner assemblies come in a variety of materials, including oil bath, paper, cotton, foam, etc.
